In this heat I want to go borrow a couple of kids so I have an excuse to slip and slide and stay cool too. Love the picture and the dog is doing what dogs should do. Great moment

Philip,

Lovely photo.  It is always wonderful to see kids at play and a great dog to watch them.  When I was a kid growing up on the sea shore, my boxer was always by my side, he was a great watch dog.

Now if you could just get the dog to put the kids to bed you and the Mrs. could go out for the night.

Enjoy the day

Philip - I have often wondered what it would be like to get inside a dog's head, and live their life for a day.  That photo makes me wonder just what that dog is thinking right now.

Your photo reminds me of my childhood - I used to have a german shepherd/collie mix that "walked" me to the bus stop, and when I came home each afternoon, he was waiting.  Dogs are awesome!!

Good dog Max. He is like a guard making sure the kids are not getting into trouble. Throw him a treat for me.
