Hi J. Phillip...You captured it beautifully.  Is that the Hudson River?

Hi Philip:

Now that's a breathtaking view.  Good job!

Kate- that is actually the East River, right by Roosevelt Island. That is the 59th St Bridge.

Lloyd. Thanks. I love that skyline. I'll get one in the evening one of these days.

Philip- that photo of you would make a great profile and/or business card photo as well.  Much softer and more natural than the current one.  And please don't take this the wrong way, but you look so very young in your current profile photo.  Beautiful photos.

Tammy, My profile photo is so old it goes back to Clinton's first term. I need to retire it one of these days!

J Phillip, that is a breathtaking view but I had to look twice to see that it is you in the second photo. Yes, retire the old photo please.

Great photo and yes you definately need to update your photo! You have much more experience to offer now and you should present yourself as such.

Philip,

Like the way you have framed the skyline and the bridge. A little overcast but that happens. :)

Your shirt goes well with the overall hues of the photo.  ;-)  -ann

PHilip, I used to live in queens and that photo was an everyday happening to me.  Now I get the Tappen Zee and sometimes the GW instead.  Nice photos and I like the new profile picture.

Cool! I said on another New Yorkers blog, "I'm living vicariously through your photos". I'm way past due for a trip to New York. I LOVE to visit the city! And this pictures is awesome. We watch so many movies that talk about going from Queens to Manhattan. This actuallly puts it into perspective. I love it! =D
